A series for the season of Advent which runs from November 27th through Christmas Eve, December 24th. It is a season to prepare and watch. It is a season to anticipate and make ourselves ready for when Jesus reveals himself in our lives. In each of our weekend gatherings we’ll be exploring what it means to engage and experience this season of reflection, the season of Advent.
Start 2017 in the best way ever! If you feel like God is calling you to be baptized or to reaffirm your baptism than we invite you to take that next step on Sunday January 1, 2017 in our 10:30 worship gathering!
There are 3 class option times to choose from, Sunday December 11, at 9am, Wednesday December 14, at 6pm and Saturday December 17, at 4:30pm. If you’re interested please email email@example.com.
This season everyone is invited to remember loved ones and friends who are no longer with us in this life. You can bring a special ornament from home, or if you would like to donate to the mission’s offering we will have one you can place on the tree of memories after writing their name on it. At the end of the season you will be able to retrieve them. We recommend you put your initials on your ornaments. The tree will be located in the back east corner of the sanctuary.
On Sunday, December 18th we will receive an offering that will go to help missionaries around the world. As a Church of the Nazarene we are part of a global church that is actively sharing the good news of Jesus. Please be praying about how you can participate in this important opportunity to give for the mission.
Join us for our Christmas Eve gathering on Saturday December 24th at 6pm. Everyone is welcomed as we reflect on the moment when God entered our world as one of us. We’ll also be receiving an offering that will go 100% to a local organization that is making an impact in our region and community. Check back here the week of December 19th and we’ll announce the organization. We hope to see you at our annual Christmas Eve Candlelight gathering!
Celebrate Recovery will start meeting this coming Monday October 31st with dinner at 6 pm and group starting at 7 pm. They will meet here in the Ministry Center at the west end of the building. This is a recovery program based on eight principles from the Beatitudes. It is a biblical and balanced program to help people overcome hurts, hang-ups, and habits.
